**look hil...i'm posting a new recipe :)
i made this last night cuz it was such a cold day and all i wanted was something warm. it turned out great so i thought i'd pass it on.

Ingredients
8 slices bacon
1 cup chopped onion
3 garlic cloves
4 cups cubed potatoes
2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of chicken soup
1 cup milk
1 cup sour cream
salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste
celery salt to taste
a couple dashes of basil & parsley

Directions
1. In a large saucepan, cook bacon until crisp. Remove bacon, and set aside. Drain all but 3
tablespoons bacon fat from the pan.
2. Brown onions and garlic in bacon fat over medium heat.
3. Add potatoes. Put enough water in to barely cover the potatoes. Cover and cook until potatoes
are tender, 15 to 20 minutes.
4. Stir together soup, milk, and sour cream until smooth; add to potato mixture. Heat, but do not
boil. Add salt and pepper, celery salt, basil and parsley to taste. Add cheese. Crumble bacon;
stir in just before serving soup, or sprinkle on top to garnish.
